ASHING & BURN OFF FURNACES
Volume (L): 13
Max. Temperature (°C): 1100/1200
MRC is a leading supplier of ashing furnaces, offering a wide range of models to suit various applications and industries. Ashing furnaces are used for the destruction of organic matter in samples, leaving behind only inorganic ash. This process is known as "ashing."
All the types of laboratory ashing and burn off laboratory furnaces have the capability to destroy a wide range of materials, including organic materials, medical waste, and hazardous chemicals. They are also equipped with advanced safety features, including automatic shut-off, over-temperature protection, and exhaust gas treatment systems to minimize emissions.
AAF serie muffle Furnaces: These are basic ashing furnaces that use a muffle to enclose the sample, preventing contamination from the surrounding atmosphere. They are suitable for ashing at temperatures up to 1200 degrees Celsius and are commonly used in the ashing of organic materials at 540 deg C in laboratories and research facilities
Application
Ash and burn-off furnaces have a wide range of industrial applications. Some of the most common include:
- Power generation: Ash furnaces are commonly used in coal-fired power plants to dispose of the ash residue that is left over after the coal is burned.
- Wastewater Treatment Plants: Ashing furnaces are used in Wastewater Treatment Plants laboratories to dispose of hazardous materials, such as medical waste or chemical waste.
Removing organic impurities from a sample Preparing samples for further analysis, such as X-ray diffraction or energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy
- Manufacturing: Burn-off furnaces are used in manufacturing processes to destroy contaminated materials, such as paint or resin.
- Metal production: Burn-off furnaces are used in metal production to remove impurities from metals, such as slag or dross.
- Cement production: Ash furnace are used in cement plants to dry and grind the raw materials
- Incineration:Ash and burn-off furnaces are used to incinerate various types of waste materials to reduce their volume and sanitize the waste for safe disposal.
