Here is an article on how to work properly with large industrial ultrasonic baths in order to preserve them over time.
- The water level should be at least 75% full. Low water levels will destroy the heating elements
- Do not place parts on the bottom of the bath and place the products on the chain only.
- Make sure that liquid is only in the bath and does not leak out. When a liquid spills out it reaches the transducers and Heater and causes their shorts and destruction.
- It is best not to work at maximum power but at a maximum of 80% in order to avoid overload.
- Do not fill the entire basket with products. But recommended a third of products at a time
- It is important to give a rest between turning on the device and its next turn on, in order to let the components in the generator and the other components cool down.
- It is recommended to drain the water and clean the bottom of the bath once a week
Failures and damage result from overload, blockage of the transducers, low water level, or spillage of water towards the transducers and heaters. Proper work and adherence to the rules, will significantly date the lifespan of the ultrasonic cleaner.
