Thermocouple Wires / Thermocouple connectors by MRC.
This sensor consists of two dissimilar metal wires, joined at one end, and connected to a thermocouple thermometer or other thermocouple-capable device at the other end. Thermocouples can provide temperature measurements over a wide range of temperatures.
The junction is placed on the element or surface where we want to measure the temperature. This junction is known as a hot junction. And the second end of the plate is kept at a lower temperature (room temperature). This junction is known as a cold junction or reference junction. The thermocouple wires are thinner so the temperature response will be faster and temperature changes can be diagnosed quickly.
Types of Thermocouples:
-Type K Thermocouple
Suitable for the most common work processes. For working temperature 1270 + 200 ° C -
-Type J Thermocouple
Working temperature range 750 + 40 ° C - (iron wire tends to get rusty).
-Type T Thermocouple
It has the best absolute sensitivity and accuracy of 0.5 + - Celsius, type K covers the temperature range
The widest and its absolute accuracy is 1.5 + - Celsius. Usually absolute accuracy is less important and more important is the ability to diagnose and measure changes in temperature.
-Type E Thermocouple
-Type R Thermocouple
